IMS has partnered with Moota to provide mobile content provisioning software and solutions. The introduction of new mobile services such as WAP, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), calendar and contact synchronization, as well as a host of other possibilities, means mobile phones will increasingly require new and updated configuration settings before they can successfully connect to network servers.
When a mobile user wants to utilize services such as WAP, MMS, Streaming and other, the phone must be configured to use those services. Configuring a terminal to use a service on a network is generally referred to as “provisioning” the terminal.

The 8040 service also provides for an informative channel that disseminates various News items to subscribers for example Breaking News, Sports News, Business News, Entertainment News etc to their mobile phones as it breaks.
